About McCORMICK
An Excellent Heritage The McCormick name
first came to prominence in the agricultural industry with the World's first practical reaper, introduced in 1831, and
remained prominent through the long and distinguished line of tractors that followed. The McCormick badge epitomised quality,
craftsmanship and innovative design – characteristics that are still reflected in today’s range of innovative
and hard-working McCormick products.
A Wealth of Experience For 60 years, farm equipment and tractors carrying the McCormick
name and their successors were built in the purpose-built Wheatley Hall Road factory in Doncaster, England. In 2007,
following a £7.5 million investment in new and upgraded facilities, production of the McCormick tractor range was transferred
to the factories of the ARGO Group in Italy. With the move came a commitment to maintaining quality standards and developing
an expanded engineering capability that would see the McCormick products improved and enhanced with new features for performance,
reliability and driver comfort.
Practical
Innovation The McCormick tractors of the 21st century remain true to the values and principles that made McCormick
a world-beater for so many years. Practical innovation is the core feature of a product development programme that has produced
the much-praised XtraSpeed transmission with its unique eight-speed powershift.
McCormick Today Today, the McCormick range provides a wide choice of tractors and materials
handling machines that operators in farming, horticulture, groundscare and fruit production rely on day in, day for reliable
and durable performance.
DATATAG protection When buying a new McCormick tractor you can now enjoy lower
insurance premiums and your machines are less likely to be stolen thanks to an industry-leading initiative by AgriArgo. All new McCormick tractors will be registered with
CESAR, the construction and agricultural equipment theft deterrence and vehicle identification scheme, free of charge.

• McCormick X60 Series
- four models from 92hp to 121hp with boost • New transmission - more speeds, smooth adjustable power shuttle • Increased 3pt linkage lift capacity, more remote spool valves available • Four-post cab with fresh interior
design carried over for space and comfort
Developed as an evolution of the McCormick CX range, the new X60 series
is designed to be even more powerful and reliable than its predecessor, this new tractor range provides increased performance greater versatility and reduced operating costs. Compared
to the CX range, the X60 series introduces two new engine ratings that further expand the tractor power range. In particular,
the X60.50 model is powered by a new Perkins Tier 3 112-hp, 4-cylinder turbo-aftercooled engine with electronic common-rail
injection system and Power Management. The Power Management system is designed to automatically boost the engine power up
to 121 hp, along with the torque, when the 1000 rpm PTO is engaged or during transport over rough ground. In addition, during
road transport at 40 km/h, the engine speed drops down to 1830 rpm, resulting in lower noise and improved fuel economy.

Major innovations include a new Argo Tractors manufactured transmission that provides a three speed powershift
giving 36 forward and 12 reverse speeds. A creep speed transmission can also be factory fitted as an option to achieve 48
forward and 16 reverse speeds for specialised applications. The electronically-controlled hydraulic power shuttle now features
a (Shuttle Modulation Control), which allows the operator to fine tune the responsiveness of the clutch and power shuttle
to suit the operating conditions and the implement being used. This makes the tractor easier to operate and helps prolong
the life of the equipment.
The electro-hydraulically
controlled rear PTO comes with a choice of two speeds: 540/750 or 540/1000. A PTO with three speeds 540/750/1000 is also available
as an option for maximum versatility of use. Modulated PTO engagement is automatically regulated via a sensor which detects
the inertia of the implement.
The X60 range
also features a new front axle which incorporates wet disc brakes for added braking capacity and safety on slopes as well
as a 100%locking differential for maximum traction in tough slippery conditions.
Other features of the X60 range include the possibility to fit up to five remote valves and a more powerful
rear hitch that provides a maximum lift capacity of 5000 kg. The Lower link draft sensing ensures accurate implement control
and the system incorporates a transport anti bounce control as standard. At the rear a variety of trailer hitches are available
including a Telescopic Auto Hitch for ease of operation.
Finally, the hood has been restyled with a new front grille with integrated headlights which reflects the
McCormick family feeling and allows for optimum visibility during night work. And that's not all. While the X60 gets on with the job, you take control in total comfort with class leading
luxury and panoramic vision from your new stylish and ergonomically-designed Deluxe cab.
The new hydraulic system provides a maximum total flow of 90 l/min (30L steering). The system features up to five remote valves with lever controls integrated in the right-hand console. Two
of the valves are operated by a joystick to make front loader operations easier, while the other three are controlled by levers
for maximum implement versatility and efficiency. A flow divider control is also fitted and regulates the oil flow from one
valve.

Fitted as standard across the McCormick range, providing the ultimate anti-theft deterrent! When buying a new McCormick tractor you can now enjoy
lower insurance premiums and your machines are less likely to be stolen thanks to an industry leading initiative by AgriArgo.
All new McCormick tractors will be registered with CESAR, the construction
and agricultural equipment theft deterrence and vehicle identification scheme, FREE OF CHARGE. This Government-backed national scheme is operated by vehicle identification specialist Datatag.
Several construction and plant hire equipment manufacturers already protect their machines through the scheme; but AgriArgo
UK become the first farm equipment supplier to do so.
The scheme works by installing several tiny transponders in random locations on the tractor, together with microscopic
Datadots that carry a registration number and unique ‘DNA' code for each tractor. The transponders - each about
the size of a grain of rice - carry a multi-digit code that can be read by thousands of scanners issued to police forces and
port authorities throughout the UK and Ireland. Each code relates
to an entry on the CESAR register that gives details of the vehicle and legitimate owner; this information is available to
the police at any time of night or day. The four identification
plates attached to the bodywork and chassis are difficult to alter and impossible to remove without damage thanks to the way
the adhesive bonds to the paint; so any attempt to get rid of them obviously raises suspicions.
